My name is Gabriela Pechova, and I grew up in České Budějovice, the southern part of the Czech Republic. In 2000, after graduation from the Academy of Business and Commerce in Třeboň, I moved to Atlanta and continued my education at the American Intercontinental University, graduating in 2004 with a major in International Business. Some years ago, I also accepted the responsibility for raising my nephew. In Fall of 2015, he was accepted to North Carolina college as a Freshman, an accomplishment that required much effort and preparation, and of which we are most proud.
I particularly enjoy working with children and am a teacher at The Czech School of Atlanta. It is a special delight to introduce my students to the Czech language and Czech traditions. In addition, I work with The Global Volunteering Agency and focus on helping children in orphanages across the world.
My hobbies are hiking with my three dogs, traveling, reading and painting.
